Our recommendations
While we’re certainly not professionals, our family enjoys playing the beautiful golf courses in Southwest Michigan—especially when they feature beautiful lake views. We’ve collected a few of our favorites to get you started.

Hawkshead
Designed by world renowned golf architect Arthur Hills, Hawkshead is a masterpiece unique to this area. It ranges from a 4,960 yard game at the gold tees to a 7,003 yard, 72 par layout at the championship tees.

Beeches
Beeches is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by award-winning Michigan architect W. Bruce Matthews III. Its name comes from the large beech tree found on the 18th hole.

Harbor Shores
The only Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on Lake Michigan, Harbor Shores plays host to the Senior PGA Championship and is a premier destination for golfers.
